Tova'dok

Tova'dok is a Klingon concept, with a rough translation into the English language as "a moment of clarity".

Worf experienced a moment of tova'dok with Martok in Internment Camp 371 in 2373. Worf was going to let Ikat'ika and his Jem'Hadar soldiers kill him, as he felt it would be the only way to escape the internment camp. In a moment of tova'dok, Martok saw what Worf was planning. Fortunately, this gave Worf a reason to fight against the Jem'Hadar once more.

Worf experienced another moment of tova'dok when he challenged Martok aboard the IKS Rotarran several months later. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire")
