Transwarp chamber

A transwarp chamber was an engineering section on a Borg ship, where a transwarp drive with a transwarp coil was housed.
The chamber was heavily shielded to prevent beaming in and out from the location. When a Borg ship became critically damaged, the chamber included a system that fused the coil's field regulator, preventing it from being activated again. (VOY: "Dark Frontier")
