Treason is the forthcoming seventeenth book in the Star Trek: New Frontier series by Peter David. Announcing the title on his website, having turned in the completed manuscript, David noted that the publication date would be "early next year [2009]". [1] The novel will be in trade paperback format, instead of the hardback format established in Stone and Anvil. The novel and format were formally announced at the Shore Leave convention on 11 July 2008.
