Trimatrix 942 was a subsection of the Borg Collective. Drones assigned to this trimatrix operated aboard Borg ships in the Beta Quadrant.

Axum (Five of Twelve) was formerly the secondary adjunct of this Trimatrix until he escaped Borg control with the help of USS Voyager in early 2377. (VOY: "Unimatrix Zero")
