The USS Biko was a Federation Oberth-class starship in service as a supply ship in the late 24th century.
In 2369, it rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise-D at Deinonychus VII after an initial delay of forty-eight hours. (TNG: "A Fistful of Datas")
[edit] Background
The Biko was named for Steve Biko, a South African anti-apartheid activist who was killed in 1977. The Star Trek Encyclopedia gives the registry number of this vessel as NCC-50331.
For the appearance of the Biko, stock footage of the unnamed Oberth-class starship from "The Drumhead" was used, with a planetary backdrop added.
