USS Buckner (NCC-42043) was a Centaur-type starship said to be in service during the Dominion War.
This name and registry number were actually used on Adam Buckner's Centaur-type kitbash model. The registry number was later reused in the Star Trek Fact Files and Star Trek: The Magazine for the USS Centaur. A recent photo by Adam Buckner still shows the original markings. [1]
