The USS Clavin was a Federation starship in the 2360s.

Anaanda Ziff was once assigned to this vessel. Her other assignments included the USS Petersen, the USS Malone and the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder").

This vessel's name was visible as a graphic in personnel file, not spoken in dialog. The name seems to be an in-joke reference to mailman Cliff Clavin from the Paramount Pictures TV show Cheers.
