The Zahl ambassador represented the Zahl species in negotiations with USS Voyager for passage through Zahl space. This would cut years off Voyager's journey. While he was aboard Voyager, the Krenim, who the Zahl had defeated years before, approached the ship. The ambassador told the crew of Voyager not to worry since the Krenim were now a insignificant race with little weaponry. A few moments later, the Zahl ambassador was wiped from history along with his entire race by a Krenim time weapon. (VOY: "Year of Hell")
