Welcome to my User page. I'm just another Star Trek fan looking to make any contributions I can to such a great Wiki. Feel free to drop me a line on my talk page.

In the beginning in late-2005, I primarily focused on minor edits to existing pages for spelling, grammar, wikilinks, external links, etc. Most of the editing occurred when I was bored or suffered insomnia (both occurred more often than I hoped).

By early-2006, I started to make larger contributions, mostly to organizational or technological articles, and occasionally about performers and characters. Some of my notable accomplishments are below:

• Star Trek Online (Perpetual Entertainment) - Wrote up a good part of it, was hoping the game would be a huge hit under PE.
• cosmetic surgery - Researched almost all of the references.
• police - Started from scratch, expanded.
• ranking officer - Complete rewrite, including those humourous VOY quotes.
• security alert - Created with the various levels/conditons.
• kitchen - Started from scratch.
• weapons locker - Greatly expanded and referenced.
• death - Compiled list of related topics.

• Ensure all species articles have a standard layout and approach, perhaps like:
  • Physical description of the people, including physiological and biological characteristics (body shape, height/weight, hair, skin, colouring, etc.)
  • Location of the species, including quadrant(s), homeworld/system(s) and colonies
  • Social structure, including government/authorities/agencies
  • Cultural artifacts or other unique non-technological contributions to the universe
  • Overview of technological capabilities or list of technologies
  • History (timeline), with emphasis on interactions with Humans
  • Background info from background or non-canon sources

Intricated's Favs
Favourite series:	Star Trek: The Next Generation: My first exposure to Star Trek, and I've never looked back.
Favourite movies:	Star Trek: First Contact: What can I say, I'm a sucker for plotlines with Picard, Data and/or the Borg.
Favourite starships:	The USS Enterprise-D and the Prometheus: First one is iconic, the latter should be. If only the Enterprise's bridge and corridors, well basically the entire sets and props, were bigger.
Favourite episodes:	Star Trek: The Next Generation "All Good Things...": Didn't have the prettiest SFX and explosions like the latter finales, but it tied the series together nicely, touching on the themes of Humanity, throw in a paradox, and with a glimpse of what the TNG crew's future could have been. Ending scene was average, but the last line was good: "... and sky's the limit". "The Best of Both Worlds" and "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II": Again, Picard and the Borg. 'Nuff said. "Darmok": The lengths that were taken to bridge the communication gap between the two peoples and the self-sacrifice just leaves with a tingling feeling (the good kind). "The Inner Light": Getting to live another one's life and have it leave such an imprint on your own. Lovely music toofile info. "The Game": Must admit, the storyline was mediocre; it was mostly Robin Lefler, and a cute line about chocolate sundae. "A Matter of Time": The Berlinghoff Rasmussen character was just so annoying, it was amusing. Also brings up the sensitivity on the "tampering of the timeline" issue that Star Trek just loves. "Cause and Effect": Come on, getting to see the Enterprise blown up over and over again was just cool. Also, how they solved the mystery using that deja vu feelings as clues was interesting. Lastly, Kelsey Grammer! "Chain of Command, Part I" and "Chain of Command, Part II": Again, seeing the crew outside their element with a new CO butting heads with the XO, Picard doing recon, and the wonderfully dramatic interrogation scenes. "Tapestry": Exploring Picard's past was nice, and that great line from Q with the flowers was priceless. "Starship Mine": Enjoyed seeing the Enterprise basically empty and Picard saving the day, with a saddle no less. Nice title too. "Parallels": TNG alternate timelines own. "First Contact": Awkward alien sex? HELLO! "Yesterday's Enterprise": I only saw 10 minutes of this episode until recently, but the summary on MA and related topics really made me appreciate it. "Captain's Holiday": Vash. "The Survivors": Great casting for the old couple, really felt for the guy and what he did. And Worf having tea. "The Measure Of A Man": Just the humanity theme again, plus the Data factor. "Disaster": Performance under pressure, nice job Deanna... and Worf! "Rascals": Awww, look at the cute little kids running around the ship. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine "Rocks and Shoals": Something about "us-against-them, strategic-planning, let's-see-stuff-from-the-bad-guys'-point-of-view, phaser-fights-that-make-sense, and honourable-actions" episodes that I like. "Family Business": It was nice to see another Ferengi-related episode, and as with many of the DS9/Ferengi ones, a good use of humour and business sense to get out of a sticky situation. "Shattered Mirror": Enjoyable episode. Plus seeing Worf say "make it so" was sooo worth it. "Trials and Tribble-ations": Classic remake of a classic. Classic! "Doctor Bashir, I Presume": Guest stars that play characters that aren't exactly the same as their starring character, yet somehow are related can sometimes get a bit repetitive, but I liked it in this case. "A Time to Stand": All plot lines in this episode were very well done and didn't seem like filler which plagues many other episodes. "Favor the Bold": Penultimate to the climax that highlighted the key points nicely without detracting too much. "Statistical Probabilities": Nice example of how (im)perfect mathematics are, even in the future. "Far Beyond the Stars": It was good, that is all. "Valiant": Always enjoy seeing a different crew aboard a different starship with different problems and different endings. "Take Me Out to the Holosuite": Baseball in the future is just as strategic and exciting as it is now in the 21st century, minus the pointy ears. "Treachery, Faith and the Great River": Nog's storyline with Sisko's desk was awesome. "The Siege of AR-558": Perhaps the darkest ground combat story in Star Trek history, and I liked it. "Field of Fire": I like cute girls holding big guns, very anime-like. "The Magnificent Ferengi": Those Ferengi know how to tickle my funny bone just right. "Distant Voices": Who'd of thought Bashir's mind was so much fun to be in? And the theme of mind over matter was nice too. Star Trek: Voyager "Real Life": "Year of Hell" and "Year of Hell, Part II": "Think Tank": "Timeless": "Relativity": "Equinox" and "Equinox, Part II": "The Voyager Conspiracy": "Memorial": "Critical Care": "Heroes and Demons": "Nemesis": Star Trek: Enterprise "These Are the Voyages..."
