On this ball of dust called earth, I live on Camano Island,Washington with my husband and teenaged son. My daughter is off to college...she is finishing up her AA degree. My husband and I share a number of hobbies such as astronomy, earth sciences such as meterology and volcanoes and earthquakes. We share a love of Star Trek and Star Wars and other great and wonderful films.

One day I would like to go back to college to take a class in photography or as it will tie in with our hobby of astronomy...soon we will be getting our first "real" digital camera..we are still shopping around for the best of the best... and also for Christmas this year I will be upgrading from Windows 98 to XP !!!!! Yeahhhh Merry Christmas to me, Merry Christmas to me....well to "us". Then off to Frys to get it and look around some more there for the camera and possibly some photo stuff to use with my computer. I have a HP, so will be using HP gear probably.

History of KMelKang aka Melissa Schmidt; Born in The Dalles,Oregon on May 17/1960. I grew up in all parts of the greater NorthWest from Northern California to North Idaho and parts of Washington. In Northern California I lived in Redway, Yreka and I think even Sacramento(I was little back then and it was so long ago- being old I sometimes get CRS). In North Idaho I lived and grew up in Coeur d'Alene, and a small community in Cataldo called Fern Creek. In Washington I grew up in a small town called Dayton. I went to college in Spokane at Spokane Community College in around 1983ig. I majored in Data Entry and minored in Karate.

This is a start, I will soon add some photos...like in a few.
