[edit] Greetings. Welcome to my new and highly improved page!
I guess it goes without saying, but I am a huge fan of Star Trek. It started in 1990 when my parents gave me the first five movies for Christmas. I grew up watching TNG and DS9, and an occasional episode of VOY. About a year and a half ago i discovered Memory Alpha and my love of the franchise was rekindled. I am now proud to say I have seen every episode of DS9 and Voyager. I have seen almost every episode TNG, and have finished season 1 of ENT. I have also seen about half of the TOS episodes and have managed to sit through 4 whole episodes of TAS. And of course I've seen all the films several times.
I consider myself to be fairly knowledgeable when it comes to matters of Trek. Two years ago I would have described myself as an expert but after seeing and interacting with many members of this site I realize I have a lot to learn.
As stated above, I have very little experience with this format. At this point, I feel as though I can make an occasional grammatical edit, or remove unnecessary background information without it being considered and act of vandalism. Soon I hope to have the skills and confidence to re-write some of the episode summaries or even create some large articles. Until then, I will continue to use this site daily and ask as many questions of other users in the chat room as possible.
