Venezuela was a country located on the South American continent on Earth.
In 2153, Venezuela was one of the regions affected in the attack by the test probe of the Xindi superweapon, which "cut a swath 4,000 kilometers long from Florida to Venezuela." The combined death toll was seven million people. (ENT: "The Expanse")
Deanna Troi and William T. Riker considered returning to Angel Falls, after having previously visiting it together in their past, following the Borg invasion in 2367. When Deanna told Beverly Crusher about their plans, she added that "Venezuela's beautiful." (TNG: "Family")
