Walter Gotell (15 March 1924 – 5 May 1997; age 73) was an actor who was born in Bonn, Germany. He played Kurt Mandl in TNG: "Home Soil". His most famous role was the Russian General Gogol in five films of the James Bond movie series between 1977 and 1987. He passed away in 1997 in London.
