Walter Simonson (born 2 September 1946; age 63) is the husband of Marvel Comics editor Louise Jones and is a comic book artist and writer in his own right. He did the cover art for issue #17 of Marvel's Star Trek series "The Long Night's Dawn!".
He has worked in the comics industry since the mid-1970s, and is well known for his work on The Mighty Thor, Fantastic Four, and X Factor. Other notable works include writing Havok & Wolverine: Meltdown and writing and drawing Orion.
