Ward Botsford (22 June 19271 April 2004; age 76) co-wrote the story for TNG: "Rascals" with his daughter Diana Dru Botsford. It is the only episode of Star Trek either of them worked on. He also directed TOS actor William Shatner for the Caedmon Records recording of Isaac Asimov's "Foundation". He also directed Leonard Nimoy for recordings of "The Martian Chronicles" and "Mimsy Where the Borogroves".

Botsford died of leukemia on 1 April 2004. [1] [2]
