Washington was a region in North America that was, in the 20th century, a state of the United States of America. Washington was named in honor of George Washington.
Washington was both a coastal and a border state, with its boundaries touching the Pacific Ocean and Canada. (DS9: "Little Green Men").
- The state of Washington is clearly visible on a wall map seen in "Little Green Men" but the state itself has never been mentioned in dialog.
