Whisky (or whiskey) was an alcoholic beverage made from grains such as corn, rye, barley, or wheat. It was distilled from a fermented mash of the grain, then aged in oak barrels or other wood containers.
Tennessee whiskey was the secret ingredient in McCoy's family recipe for Southern baked beans. James T. Kirk, Spock, And Dr. McCoy drank whiskey while camping in Yosemite. (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)
