Wilkins

Professor Wilkins was an archeologist and member of the doomed Starnes Exploration Party on Triacus. In 2268, Wilkins excavated a cave near their campsite that inadvertantly released the last suriving inhabitant of the planet, an enitity called Gorgan. Gorgan had taken refuge in the cave many centuries ago, when its civilization was destroyed. (TOS: "And the Children Shall Lead")
