The Xanthan homeworld is planet located inside the Delphic Expanse. It was home to a gigantic floating trading bazaar where shopkeepers such as B'Rat Ud and Zjod made their homes. One of the planet's native animals is the Xanthan marmot.
In September of 2153, the Enterprise NX-01 visted the Xanthan homeworld to do business with B'Rat. While there, Jonathan Archer helped one of Zjod's slaves, Rajiin, to escape. Rajiin had actually been planted in Zjod's shop by the Xindi a few days earlier.
The Xanthan homeworld is half a light year from Oran'taku. (ENT: "Rajiin")
- From orbit no significant landmasses were seen, and giving the apparent importance of floating settlements the planet might be entirely covered in water. The planet was not named on screen; its name here derives from the fact that Xanthan marmots came from the planet. It is unknown whether or not there are any native sentient species.
