Zero One

Zero One was one of the Bynars who stole the USS Enterprise-D from Starbase 74 in 2364, while carrying out a computer upgrade. Zero One's partner was One Zero. Her planet, which was dependent on computers, had lost its main computer due to an explosion and the Bynars were dying because their life support on the planet had failed. She wanted to use Enterprise's computer as a replacement.

Together with One Zero, Zero Zero, and One One, Zero One programed the Enterprise-D's computer to indicate that the magnetic containment field was about to explode. Data evacuated the ship and launched it into space to avoid damaging Starbase 74. Zero One and her fellow Bynars also upgraded the holodecks to keep both William Riker and Jean-Luc Picard while they could hijack the ship. They soon broke away, however, and found the Bynars nearly unconscious on the bridge. Upon discovering their plight, Picard allowed the Bynars to use the ship's computer to regenerate their planetary computer.

Zero One faced a hearing when the Enterprise was returned to Starbase 74, along with the three other Bynars involved. (TNG: "11001001")
