==History==
[[Vulcan]]s landed on Earth in [[Timeline|2063]] hoping to make peaceful first contact, however the Vulcan representative was shot down by [[Zefram Cochrane]]. In the century thereafter, the Terran Empire vastly expanded its power in local space, conquering [[Vulcan (planet)|Vulcan]] and many other worlds.  In [[2155]], Earth's major cities were threatened by [[Hoshi Sato]] in command of the [[USS Defiant (NCC-1764)|USS ''Defiant'']] in orbit. It is unknown if she did in fact attack the cities.
