A weak little coward, Quark actually worked up the courage to help a number of Terran slaves escape from the control of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. However, his role in the operation was exposed by a recaptured slave, and he was arrested. Despite making a personal plea to Intendant Kira Nerys, she ordered his immediate execution. (CO)
Quark's brother Rom later joined the Terran Rebellion to avenge his brother's death, and his nephew Nog took over the bar. (TTLG) (SM)
