Theta

Theta is a Klingon-Cardassian Alliance classification for Terran slaves. Those that had achieved "Theta" status were moderately highly ranked and entrusted with certain important tasks. Miles O'Brien was of the theta classification in 2370, and was relatively well-respected by Intendant Kira Nerys. (CO)(TTLG)
