Antonín (or Anton) Dvořák was an Earth composer in the late 19th century. Dvořák's main focus was romantic music and wrote a series of musical compositions which he titled The Slavonic Dances.

When Captain Jean-Luc Picard called up his musical composition Picard Mozart trio, Program 1, the music began to distort and turned into The Slavonic Dances. The cause of this was a malfunction in an interface between the USS Enterprise-D computer and Data, who engaged in a study of Dvorak's collected works, in 2369. (TNG: "A Fistful of Datas")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 225), the birth and death years of Anton Dvorak were 1841 and 1904, respectively. His music was described as adaptations of Bohemian folk music.
