In 2293, the position and orbital path of Beta Penthe II were illustrated on a system map of the Beta Penthe system. This map was from the Starfleet Command Intelligence Database. In the planned "Operation Retrieve", the USS Eagle would pass between this planet and Beta Penthe IV on its journey to Rura Penthe. Along with other pages for the "Operation Retrieve" command briefing, the page with this map was seen in the office of the Federation President on Earth.
