A flo-yo was a toy said to be owned by the alternate reality James T. Kirk when he was eleven, according to a scene in the script of Star Trek.

In the scene, Kirk, distressed by his older brother's intention to leave home, tries bargaining with him by promising him his flo-yo. The scene that would have contained the reference was filmed and then cut, but the flo-yo mention was already gone even then.
