Frin was a Ferengi of the Ferengi Alliance in the 24th century. He was an uncle to Quark and Rom.
According to Quark, he owned thirty bars. Odo noted that he knew Frin to be a more devious Ferengi than Quark, his nephew. (DS9: "Civil Defense")
This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to the script, the pronunciation for Frin was "FRIN".
