Fumiko Hamada (born 30 November 1963; age 60) is an actress who played a regular background character, a command division officer in several episodes of the seventh season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a background actress she received no credit for her appearances.

Hamada played a supporting role in the television movie Long Shadow (1994), with Matt Frewer, Paul Collins, Kimberly Cullum, and Henry Hayashi. She was also the host for the C/Net series and appeared in the HBO Comedy Hour. Her film resume include American Direct, Seafari, and Animation Cerebration. Hamada also played supporting roles in stage plays such as King and I and Stand Up.

She was married, for a time, to writer Douglas Scott-Hessler.
