Jeff Magnus McBride (born 11 September 1959; age 64) is an illusionist and magician who originated the role of Joran Dax in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine third season episode "Equilibrium". Leigh J. McCloskey took over this role in the seventh season episode "Field of Fire".

McBride was fascinated by magic from early age on and performed and studied his skills as an illusionist and magician while performing on tours around the world. He presented his shows in several clubs and was the opening act for entertainers such as Tina Turner, Tom Jones, and Diana Ross. Named one of the best magicians in Las Vegas, McBride hosted several shows, including his own at the Caesars Magical Empire in Las Vegas.

McBride's work and skills have also been featured on several television shows including The World Magic Awards, Masters of Illusion, Criss Angel's Mindfreak, World's Greatest Magicians, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and Champions of Magic.

He is also a lecturer and workshop leader, has won several awards for his performances, and set several records on the Guinness World Records.
