Litana was an engineer living on Deep Space 9 who worked on the day shift under Chief Miles O'Brien.
After Rom joined the day shift, he noted that everyone on the shift liked him, especially Litana. He noted that she was "always finding excuses" to talk to him. (DS9: "The Assignment")
According to the script, her name was pronounced as "lee-TAN-uh". [1]
