Namon was a photometric projection of a Vori male, serving as a soldier novice in the fourth contingent of the Vori Defense Contingent.

After Commander Chakotay crash landed with shuttlecraft on a planet in the Delta Quadrant in 2374, he was brainwashed by the Vori to fight in their defense contingent. Namon was the soldier who "found" Chakotay in the jungle-forest, gagged him and brought him to his superior, Brone.

Namon made jokes about another soldier in the fourth contingent, Rafin, as it was Rafin's first time in the war zone. On the next day, Namon accompanied Chakotay in his search for his shuttlecraft. During their walk, they were attacked by two Kradin soldiers and Namon was shot, "nullified" as the Vori named it.

During a ceremony, Namon was stripped off his clothing and placed into a blanket. He was then turned around onto his front to find his way into the Gloried Way After. Chakotay received his belongings as his Starfleet uniform was too colorful to walk in the woods. (VOY: "Nemesis")

Namon was played by actor Nathan Anderson.
He filmed his scenes on Wednesday 18 June 1997, Friday 20 June 1997, Monday 23 June 1997, and Thursday 26 June 1997 on Paramount Stage 16 and on location at the Warner Bros. backlot.
His costume from this episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
