Rebecca Soladay (born 28 September 1958; age 65) is an actress and writer who played a Vulcan maiden in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. She received no credit for this part and was named by the name tag of her costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

Soladay worked as regular background actress and stand-in for lead actress Shelley Long on Cheers from 1982 on. In 1984, she had a featured role in the episode "Fairy Tales Can Come True" alongside Kelsey Grammer. In 1987, she wrote and produced a short film entitled Lotus, which examines the practice of foot-binding in a traditional Chinese society.

Soladay wrote the teleplay for the television drama Shame (1992, starring Dean Stockwell and Dan Gauthier), the television drama Empty Cradle (1993, featuring Penny Johnson), and the television drama Mixed Blessings (1995, starring Bruce Greenwood).

Soladay is the daughter of noted civil rights attorney Salle Soladay, and is married to Pulitzer Prize winning photographer and journalist, David Hume Kennerly; their children include comedian Byron Kennerly and musician Nick Kennerly.
