The Sarajevo (NC-27) was an United Earth Sarajevo-type transport that was in service in the mid-22nd century.
In 2154, the Sarajevo rendezvoused with Enterprise NX-01 to transport Danica and Emory Erickson to Earth. (ENT: "Daedalus")
The Sarajevo was named after the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a region and former country in Europe on Earth. The 24th century Federation starship USS Sarajevo might have been named in her honor.
In the final draft script of "Daedalus", the Sarajevo was referred to as a "Starfleet transport vessel". However, there is no on-screen evidence to confirm whether the Sarajevo was a Starfleet vessel.
