Why is this article so certain of the Queen not being a true individual?[]

This article cites First Contact as evidence of the Borg Queen not being a true individual, and yet that very same movie portrays the Queen as an individual with her own unique motivations and personality. Voyager does little to dispel this notion either, as the Queen is once more depicted as a totalitarian figure with a dynamic range of clearly personal emotions. She takes visible gratification in assimilating the Voyager crew (she gives a wicked smile); she expresses rage when Janeway destroys Unimatrix Zero; she names Seven her "favorite drone"; heck, she even indulges in vanity.

"It's a shame you're not alive to experience disembodiment. It's the epitome of perfection." —Borg Queen, addressing a decapitated Borg drone

For all of her obfuscating rhetoric, she's presented as little more than a dictator—and a capricious one at that. I don't know how her status as an individual can really be impugned. --ElokQuintly (talk) 02:51, October 1, 2020 (UTC)

Picture[]

Why are there three pictures of her in the infobox? Don’t pages usually just have two pictures in there?Icecreamdif (talk) 06:31, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

the feature exists for there to be up to three, and there is no requirement that says every character page is to be a cookie cutter version of the next, so given the current nature of the situation, this seems rather petty. --Gvsualan (talk) 10:23, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with three pictures. I’m siure it will be changed anyway, once we see what the Queen looks like behind her mask.Icecreamdif (talk) 06:23, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

These are interesting times. –Gvsualan (talk) 14:04, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

The Face[]

As per Terry Matalas' tweet [1], The Face was the Borg Queen. So I'm proposing that this article be merged with Borg Queen, potentially when the next episode has aired because I think that episode will confirm it for sure. Giftheck (talk) 16:29, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

Ok, then why spoil it now and not just let this happen naturally? –Gvsualan (talk) 16:58, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

Synopsis of "The Last Generation"[]

Is the level of detail of the Queen's appearance in PIC "The Last Generation" required? It seems excessive as an almost literal play-by-play of the episode. Jabba Du Hast (talk) 16:37, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

It could be summarized a little better, without as much dialogue, but it is accurate. --Gvsualan (talk) 20:42, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
I agree with the accuracy, just questioning the necessity of the AMOUNT of content. Jabba Du Hast (talk) 14:14, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

The Borg Queen's "occupation."[]

Nexus doesn't accurately reflect her role within the Collective, as she's more than a "core" or means of connection. She literally leads the hive mind. If we want to be technical, it should be "Queen of the Borg Collective." The Jurati Borg refer to Borgati as their "Queen." Likewise, Jack Crusher specifically denotes her as "their queen."
