Tchaikovsky was among the Devore Kashyk's favorite Earth composers. Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 was played as Janeway and Kashyk worked to find the interspatial flexure in 2375. (VOY: "Counterpoint")
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 376), the birth and death years of Tchaikovsky were 1840 and 1893, respectively.
