The USS Roosevelt was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet.
In 2366, Roosevelt saw action against the Borg at the Battle of Wolf 359. During the battle with the Borg, some of the ship's crew were assimilated, including science officer Dr. Riley Frazier. (VOY: "Unity")
The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 333) stated that this vessel was an Excelsior-class starship with a registry of NCC-2573. The reference work (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 237) further noted that the ship was named for American president Theodore Roosevelt, after whom the real world Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) was named.
StarTrek.com reused the image of the USS Saratoga to represent the USS Roosevelt at Wolf 359, suggesting this ship was also a Miranda-class starship. [1]
In Star Trek Online, the ship is depicted as an Ambassador-class starship with a registry of NCC-65983.
