The flight controller was played by Cassandra Byram; the character was identified in the Emissary novelization as Delaney. The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko gives her full name as Rachel Delaney.

The operations officer of the Saratoga was a Human female who held the rank of ensign. During the Battle of Wolf 359 in late 2366, where she died. (DS9: "Emissary")

The operations officer was played by Lily Mariye and identified in the Emissary novelization as Tamamota. The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko gives her full name as Kemeko Tamamota.

Tactical officer []

The Saratoga's Bolian tactical officer

The tactical officer, a Bolian male lieutenant, was one of only two bridge officers to survive the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2366. He was later forced to physically drag Benjamin Sisko away from the body of his deceased wife to safety. (DS9: "Emissary")

The tactical officer was played by Stephen Davies.
According to the script this character was described as "a burly male Bolian tactical officer (Lieutenant rank)" later emphasis was made on "his Bolian strength."
The Michael Jan Friedman novel Saratoga gives the name of this officer as Zar, although the novel Emissary, as well as the video game Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Crossroads of Time, referred to him as Hranok. The eBook Enterprises of Great Pitch and Moment gives his full name as Hranok Zar.
